“As someone who was involved in making a shroud for our father after dying I found it to be a beautiful experience. It allowed the family time to spend doing something purposeful and therapeutic. We talked, reminisced, laughed and cried. As adults, we have not had a lot of opportunity to spend time together and the experience of making the shroud was more than special and the shared task at the time of grief had a unifying effect”
